Hands-on, mature Business Driver & Initiator
The Rotorshop of our client is one of the most well equipped facilities in Europe and had undertaken projects on small to some of the largest (230 MW) gas turbines as well as undertaken special repairs on utility steam turbines. The rotor shop is supported by our own engineering, component refurbishment, new parts and field services, creating an unique non-OEM facility.
The Sales Manager Gas Turbines is responsible for the sales results (turnover & margins), the overall salesprocess and the account/market development, especially within the new market of Oil & Gas, Petro chemical industries for rotors.
You are responsible for the sales plan. Therefore you need specific market knowledge, not only from existing clients but also from new markets and other business opportunities. You take initiative to explore the market for new business and you also strive to sell service contracts. Internally you keep your stakeholders informed about your proceedings and possible needs for support. You work together with diverse disciplines.
Ability Demands
You know the European market for rotating equipment within the Oil & Gas as well as the Petro Chemical industry very well. Solid sales experience in a mature technical business environment. At least 5 years within the Oil & Gas, Petro Chemical industry or Power generation;
At least BSc educational level with a Technical Specialism combined with sales & marketing courses (Nima B level);
Preferably within an International setting and specific knowledge about the mentioned markets and products.
Solid in contract management (terms & conditions);
High level of independence, flexibility, pro-activity and willing to travel extensively (> 50%).
Strong drive to achieve results with a clear understanding of value added salesprocess within large companies.
Creative business person with excellent negotiation techniques.
Dutch, English, German and perhaps France.
